Our services

Whatever hurts, we've treated it before.

Eight ways we get you back to yourself — and every one of them starts the same way: a comprehensive assessment, a clear diagnosis, and a plan you actually understand.

General & sports injuries

Get back on the road,
field or trail.

Cape Town is a city that moves — and we keep it moving. From a rolled ankle on Lion's Head to full ACL rehabilitation, we diagnose the real cause of your injury, treat it hands-on, and build the rehab that stops it coming back. Sport-specific input included, whether your finish line is the Argus or the school run.

  • Ankles — sprains, instability, Achilles pain
  • Knees — ITB, runner's knee, ligament & meniscus tears, ACL rehab
  • Hips — impingement, piriformis syndrome, labrum tears, osteoarthritis
  • Shoulders — rotator cuff injuries, bursitis, frozen shoulder
  • Elbows & wrists — tennis & golfer's elbow, carpal tunnel, fractures

"The professional treatment allowed me to complete the Argus." — Robert P., patient

Hands-on physiotherapy treatment02

Back & neck pain

Find the cause.
End the cycle.

Painkillers mask it. We fix it. Using specialised physical assessment we pinpoint what's actually driving your pain — a disc bulge, a locked facet joint, or simply muscle in spasm — then target it with hands-on treatment, mobilisation (Mulligan, McKenzie and Maitland trained), dry needling and a personalised exercise plan. Desk workers: we'll sort your ergonomics too.

  • Disc prolapse, disc bulge & degenerative disc disease
  • Sciatica, pinched nerves, pins & needles
  • Facet joint & sacroiliac joint pain
  • Tension headaches & desk-neck
  • Posture, alignment & repetitive strain

Post-operative rehab

Recover properly,
the first time.

Surgery is half the story — the rehab decides the outcome. Julia spent three years at Oxford's Manor Hospital working alongside leading orthopaedic surgeons, treating patients before and after shoulder, hip, knee and back operations. We build your programme phase by phase, re-evaluating as you progress, until you're back to full function.

  • ACL reconstruction — structured 4–6 month return
  • Knee & shoulder arthroscopy
  • Rotator cuff repair
  • Hip & knee replacements
  • Spinal surgery rehabilitation

Sports massage

Deep, precise work —
by physiotherapists.

This isn't a spa rub. As qualified physiotherapists we know exactly where the deep knots and bands of tension live, and how to release them — improving recovery and reducing post-event muscle soreness. If you're carrying pain or an injury, we factor it in and work with it, then send you home with tips and exercises to keep the benefit.

  • Deep tissue massage — the deeper muscles, not just the surface
  • Myofascial release for tight bands of fascia
  • Trigger point release for stubborn knots
  • Pre- and post-event sports massage

Women's health

Cared for,
never dismissed.

Pregnancy and birth change your body — pain along the way is common, but it isn't something you simply have to live with. We also stock an excellent supportive belt for pregnancy.

  • Pregnancy-related back pain, sciatica & sacroiliac pain
  • Pubic symphysis dysfunction
  • Pelvic floor weakness or tears
  • Incontinence
  • Carpal tunnel & tingling hands in pregnancy

Breastfeeding & lactation · with Julia

Breastfeeding should not be painful.

Cracked nipples, blocked ducts, mastitis, engorgement — Julia treats them with laser and ultrasound, checks your baby's latch, and helps you learn the art properly. Any redness, lump or pain in the breast should be treated urgently: the right care early avoids antibiotics, an abscess or surgery. Expecting? Her one-hour ante-natal session gets you and your baby off to the right start. At the practice or in your home (CBD, Atlantic Seaboard & Hout Bay).
